Story Seekers: A Quest for the Best with Children's Booker Prize
KS2 Creative Comprehension Pack
Are you ready to find the most blamazing story ever written? Our latest Beano for Schools lesson, ‘Story Seekers!’ is a fast-paced, interactive session for KS2, created in collaboration with the Children’s Booker Prize, supported by AKO Foundation.
Featuring class activities and games, kids will:
· Develop understanding of genres and formats.
· Build confidence in choosing stories that are right for them.
· Discover that some of their favourite media started off as books.
· Practise critical and evaluative skills.
· Find out more about the new Children’s Booker Prize and how they can participate.
With quizzes, match games and a dash of mischief, you can develop your class’s confidence and help lead them to a love of reading.
